واشنگٹن : وائٹ ہاؤس کی کرونا وائرس رسپانس ٹیم کے اہم رکن ڈاکٹر انتھونی فاؤچی سمیت تین انتہائی اعلیٰ امریکی عہدیدار قرنطینہ میں چلے گئے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق عالمگیر وبا قرار دئیے جانے والے نئے اور مہلک ترین کرونا وائرس نے دنیا بھر میں تباہی مچائی ہوئی ہے لیکن سب سے متاثرہ ملک امریکا ہے جہاں متاثرین کی تعداد 13 لاکھ سے زائد ہے جبکہ ہلاکتوں کی تعداد اسّی ہزار سے زائد ہوچکی ہے۔

امریکا میں روزانہ کی بنیاد پر سیکڑوں نئے کرونا کیسز رپورٹ ہورہے ہیں، امریکی میڈیا کا کہنا ہے کہ وائٹ ہاؤس کی کرونا رسپانس ٹیم کے اہم رکن ڈاکٹر انتھونی فاؤچی قرنطینہ چلے گئے، قرنطینہ میں جانے اعلیٰ عہدیداروں میں سینٹر فار ڈیزیز کنٹرول اینڈ پریونٹیشن ڈائریکٹر رابرٹ ریڈ فیلڈ بھی شامل ہیں۔

امریکی میڈیا کی رپورٹ میں مزید بتایا گیا ہے کہ فوڈ اینڈ ڈرگ ایڈمنسٹریشن کے کمشنر اسٹیفن ہان بھی قرنطینہ چلے گئے۔

خیال رہے کہ ایک روز قبل بھی امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کے ساتھ کام کرنے والے وائٹ ہاؤس کے ایک اہلکار میں بھی مہلک ترین کرونا وائرس کی تصدیق ہوئی تھی۔

وائٹ ہاؤس کے اہلکار میں کرونا وائرس کی تصدیق ہونے کے بعد ٹرمپ انتظامیہ نے روزانہ کی بنیاد پر اہلکاروں کے کرونا ٹیسٹ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا تھا۔

واضح رہے کہ امریکا میں وائرس سے زندگی کی بازی ہارنے والوں کی تعداد 80 ہزار سے زائد ہوچکی ہے جبکہ کرونا مریضوں کی تعداد 12 لاکھ 48 ہزار 315 کا ہندسہ عبور کرچکی ہے۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ ریاست نیویارک امریکا کی سب سے زیادہ متاثرہ ریاست ہے جہاں وائرس سے متاثرہ افراد کی تعداد تین لاکھ 43 ہزار چار سو نو ہے اور چھبیس ہزار 771 افراد لقمہ اجل بن چکے ہیں۔
