گوگل کا ڈوڈل عظیم افسانہ نگار سعادت حسن منٹو کے نام

سچائیوں کو افسانوں اور  خاکوں کے قالب میں ڈھال کر امر  ہو جانے والے سعادت حسن منٹو کی آج 180ویں  یوم پیدائش کے موقع پر گوگل اپنا دوڈل تبدیل کر کے انہیں خراجِ عقیدت پیش کر رہا ہے۔

سعادت حسن منٹو نے روایتی اردو افسانے کو نئی جہت دی، اردو ادب میں وہ آج بھی اس مقام پر کھڑے ہیں جہاں ان کے مقابل کوئی نہیں۔

لیجنڈ افسانہ نگار سعادت حسن منٹو  11 مئی 1912 کو بھارت کے ضلع لدھیانہ میں پیدا ہوئے اور ابتدائی تعلیم اپنے گھر میں حاصل کی، 1921 میں ایم او مڈل اسکول میں چوتھی جماعت میں داخلہ لیا۔

پاکستان بننے کے بعد منٹو نے ٹوبہ ٹیک سنگھ، کھول دو، ٹھنڈا گوشت، دھواں اور بو سمیت کئی بہترین افسانے تخلیق کیے جو اردو ادب کے آسمان پر ہمیشہ جگمگاتے رہیں گے۔ 

منٹو نے ڈھائی سو سے زیادہ افسانے اور کہانیاں لکھیں جس میں سے حکومتِ وقت نے ان کے 5 افسانوں کو فحش قرار دے کر انہیں کٹہرے میں کھڑا کیا۔

اردو کے عظیم افسانہ نگار سعادت حسن منٹو کا انتقال 42 برس کی عمر میں 18 جنوری 1955 کو ہوا لیکن وہ آج بھی اپنی تحریروں کے ذریعے دنیائے ادب کے قلب میں بستے  ہیں۔

منٹو نے اپنی قبر کا کتبہ بھی خود لکھا کہ  'یہ سعادت حسن منٹو کی قبر ہے، جو اب بھی سمجھتا ہے کہ اس کا نام لوحِ جہاں پر حرفِ مکرر نہیں'۔

Saadat Hassan Manto gave a new dimension to traditional Urdu fiction. In Urdu literature, he still stands at a place where no one can match him.

Legendary novelist Saadat Hassan Manto was born on May 11, 1912 in Ludhiana district of India and received his early education at home. In 1921, he entered the fourth grade at MO Middle School.

After becoming Pakistan, Manto created many great fictions, including Toba Tek Singh, Khol Do, Thanda Goshta, Dhawan and Bo, which will always shine in the sky of Urdu literature.

Manto wrote more than two hundred and fifty fictions and stories, of which the government of the day condemned five of his fictions as obscene and put them in jail.

The great Urdu novelist Saadat Hassan Manto passed away on January 18, 1955 at the age of 42, but he still lives in the heart of the literary world through his writings.

Manto also wrote his own tombstone, saying, "This is the tomb of Saadat Hassan Manto, who still thinks his name is not on the tablet."
